It was our last meeting at Petland thank you Terri for all your help.

Went over last months meeting notes.

The meeting was called to order at 6:20 PM

Gary Person reminded all members where to find minutes for March 31st meeting

1. competitions will start after a new board is elected.

2. Fish Swap vendor cap set by Albuquerque water garden to 30

3. updated about kids day in June will update in May

Guest Speaker Alan talked about No3 Cycle and using cycled media - potential problems.  20 min discussion

March 31

Meeting met and greet we had 27 members and families show up to our first meeting. 30 minutes of handshaking, meeting, and goodwill.​

Opened floor up for inquires on what our members want from our society.

 

 A. Facebook sales page this suggestion was an overwhelming agreed upon.                                   

B. Skill set options- this where our club presents the members with high knowledge in any area and connect them members who need help.                                                                                                                   

1.Questions will be answered through Facebook and on website forum link.                                                       

 2. We will set up small workshops to cover any areas that members want  covered.

 3. Shows/Competitions Gary Person will be filming members tanks and as                                                             

a whole our society will hand out awards. (pending)  

                                                                     

Kids - we as a society we were asked to put on an educational seminar.

ASAS announced NM the very first fish swap meet to be held August 4, 2019 at Albuquerque Water Gardens (AWG).   

  A. Vendors tables will $20.00 per table with no profit sharing. Gate price will be  $5 per family and $2.00 per person.                                                                                                                                                      

1. Gate and table admission will be split with AWG and ASAS equally.
